The camera on the XS is slightly larger than the X. I bought cases for the X before and have had to shave off some of the material around the camera hole for it to fit my XS. For the case in this post, it looks like it is pretty tight around the camera

I would not recommend an apple branded silicone case. The silicone around the bottom corners wears away fairly quickly and leaves no protection if the device is dropped on one of those corners.

I owned this case for 7-months now and no major issues yet. There is slight wear at the top corners, but the bottom looks good. I also have a small cut on one of the top corners. This case attracts lint easily, but has great grip and slim.
