Nice that shipping is free this time. Be aware that returns will deduct $5 and if you pay shipping (outside of this deal for example) that won't be refunded, so it's $5~11 to return anything.

Dang, returns are not free shipping. Guess I will wait and continue to check Costco.

This is a good price for great baselayers which matches the Costco price even when Costco has them discounted. On top of that their website has more variety in colors and size. I love my lightweight baselayers for work or working out in 50 degree weather.

Ha. Good luck. With Merino wool in general, you 100% get what you pay for. A good number of companies will call something a Merino Wool top, but in reality it's like 10% merino wool and the rest is polyester. It sucks when you Google "Merino wool baselayers" and these pop up. Stay away from these completely. They do it to lure in with a cheap prices point.

There's "cheaper" options out there. Mountain Warehouse has a LS Baselayer for $30. It's not bad, but isn't anywhere near as comfortable as my Smartwool and Duckwoth LS top..seems thinner and is definitely "itchier" and stiffer. Eddie Bauer has some merino wool stuff and they always have sales. Again, not 100 % merino wool..i think its a 50/50 blend (or closer to it), it's good stuff. I don't think EB actually makes it (their Merino Wool socks come from Point2, who is from the original founders of SmartWool), but it's good stuff, especially at the sale price.

I picked up a Merino Wool short sleeve from Lidl last year for like $15. Man that thing was baaaaaad. Lasted maybe 3 washes. Really, really thin and bad quality all around.
