Yes , Xr line is 20v, these Flexvolt batteries work on the 20v and 60v line , but 20v batteries won't work in 60v Flexvolt tools. These batteries are 9 AH at 20v, and 3 AH at 60v. The general consensus here is that 10$ per Ah is a good deal

Edit: Do note that DeWalt released a new hybrid line of tools called "FlexVolt Advantage" that use both 20v and 60v batteries. When paired with a Flexvolt battery, they will output more power / runtime etc. Definitely a bit confusing. DeWalt also released a new line called "Power Detect" as well, which is Lowes only. Same thing as FA , but with 8 Ah batteries instead of Flexvolt.
lemme know if you need some more clarification ☺️

Thanks I ordered. Free shipping so better than the other $200 deal. I tried to get Home Depot to match but stupidly they won't match when a code is used... losing a lot of business that way if you ask me.

Free Shipping from Mills Fleet Farm too if you use the code. If you are in the Midwest or anywhere where there is a Mils Fleet Farm, I suspect HD will match the price since that is their advertised price (in a sales flyer).

Already pulled the trigger on the Mill Fleet Farm deal but noticed the ones pictured here is the newer casing. Other than the cases, are they the same batteries? Reading somewhere that Dewalt used 20700 and switched to using 21700... so wondering if the newer casing has the 21700 cells.

The new (logo) yellow shells are made in China, the older design are made in Korea or Mexico... both designs are still being produced. They should have the same cells. The smaller size 20700 i believe came in the 2016-17 models made in Japan.... these were the ones that did not have the small exposed metal tabs for heat dissipation.
