If I remember correctly first class TV has been confirmed LG will honor the 1yr warranty? They are literally listed as NOT an authorized dealer on the LG website...

The jump from 65 to 77 in price is crazy. Hopefully OLED panels will be cheaper soon

TVs usually go on sale leading up to the Super Bowl. Hopefully, that happens again since I will need a new large screen TV in March or April of 2021.

Where do you see the eBay promo? I'm only seeing $17.99 in ebay bucks on my end.

Yeah I was pretty sure I've seen it but if you look at the warranty page on the LG site they have a list of non authorized sellers... I mean why would LG have that list??

I used to work in the electronic business..... even attended a few CES conventions.
They want to encourage people to purchase from those retailers.

Warranties are governed by law.
Granted...they can refuse to honor warranties due to a technicality (and often do) but as long as the item was bought new from a licensed merchant and not a reseller. They "HAVE" to honor the warranty. They even have to honor the warranty if the item was bought new from a "Bait & Switch" merchant.

Google: Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

They can refuse items sold as refurbished/used, and second owners. eg... your brother bought it new and you bought it from him after he used it, even for a day.

There's tons of sneaky things electronic manufactures do to screw the public.

eg... those stickers claiming: "Removal Voids Warranty" are illegal.
You have the right to open a product that you own and as long as you do not damage it or modify it. The warranty cannot be voided.

I was gonna join Costco but they don't have any 65" instock, and I have tax exemption already setup on ebay... Prob just pay for the two year warranty and have my TV next week.
