Seems like a great price. I have tried for three cycles trying to get the 14-24 for $1150 and never had luck. I finally gave up and picked up the 16-35gm. I really wanted to try out a Sigma.

It's BF, do you think $900 is possible? Do they charge tax?

I don't think so. 939 includes tax + shipping. Cheapest price is 1059 + tax right now and that was a 50$ price drop recently. Highly doubt with tax that you will be able to beat the price on BF. But I advise you to just start the offer at a lower price, and then and give a few days to accept it. In the meantime, you can watch it on BF and Cyber Monday and then decide.

a lot to do with tax collections. Some states require the vendors to collect them, others don't, or at least there may be a way to avoid it. You can check say eBay to see which states they must collect sales taxes from the buyers.

I'm from NY. Maybe that's why. I raised my price to $900 but no one bother to counter me. I'm fine with 939!!! lol
