According to the camels this is the cheapest it's ever been.
Now, you can debate if you really need to spend this much on a GPS. But if you don't actually ride a motorcycle, this clearly isn't for you (and as such you probably won't understand why it might actually be worth $450.)
There are cheaper options. But you kinda do get what you pay for. Great (big) screen, waterproof, works well with gloves, won't get rattled to death on your handlebars, and "all-terrain."
I do agree that it's still pretty expensive though.
