Bought this a couple years ago and honestly I wasn't impressed. YMMV. Ended up returning it and using Techstream for the Lexus I was working on then later buying a decent handheld scanner for other cars.
This is a good unit as it will use OBD to scan many models. I have used this for a couple of years, It works well across the board to check and reset codes. A nice add is that will will have suggested fixes and redirect you to amazon for the replacement part (not 100 accurate). It is a step up from a basic OBD scanner as it comes with their OBD software. This is the best price I have seen and well worth it compared to other OBD devices that require generic software.
This is a terrible price. Please don't be fooled by this, people. I've bought four of these Bluetooth OBD2 scanners over the years (two for me and two as gifts). This is a markup of products that are just as good and cost around $20 regularly.
Here is a link to one on Amazon that I've bought several times and has over 20K reviews: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005NLQ...UTF8&psc=1
EDIT:
Apparently I put my foot in my mouth on this comment and have spoken out of turn for a product I made an assumption about. I was under the impression that these scanners usefulness was purely determined by the software you utilize in conjunction with them and not that there were different capabilities between the two products. Others that seem to know better have posted opinions in favor of the product. I will admit my limitations and defer to their judgement. I've corrected others on their posts before and hate it when people try to argue points that they can't support just because they can't admit they were wrong. So, I'm going to avoid being, "that guy" and just say, do the research and watch the content others have provided on this post to decide for yourself if this product is right for you.

It's annoying when people who obviously haven't used the product preach this about BlueDriver. BlueDriver is NOT an Apple-ized ELM 327. I own the BlueDriver, an ELM 327, and a few other scanners as well. The BlueDriver is able to get more codes than a generic ELM 327 as well as ABS codes, etc. that an ELM 327 (like the one you listed) cannot.
BlueDriver obviously cannot get as many codes as something like ForScan, Techstream, HDS, etc., but it is much better than the ELM 327. Both the software and the hardware receive free updates all the time to support new cars and new features. Yes, some of the price in the product is because they make a pretty user interface that puts Torque to shame, but a lot of the cost is truly because they invest in their product and it does things better than the generic code readers.
If you just want to pull generic codes, then an ELM 327 is just fine. Nothing wrong with it. But if you want to pull more codes as well as have some additional capabilities, then the BlueDriver is very nice. If you want it, it's a good price.

Second this. But do note that you would need something like OBDLink MX for certain vehicles due to their CAN and polling frequency of sensors
I own this bluedriver, and to me it's well worth the money, at least on our cars. I prefer the Bluedriver over my Foxwell NT301, as it scans more onboard modules than the Foxwell. Also supports Mode 6.
One of the other cool things that Bluedriver does is if it pulls a code, it gives you a link to purchase the part at Amazon.
Great product for those of us who like to go to a mechanic with a little more than "I have no idea." Doesn't mean we're trying to diagnose or fix issues, but very often it helps identify simple fixes. I have this and a few other DIY scan tools, and I much prefer this one as the starting point.

Not true. Lots of positive YouTube videos on this unit. I don't endorse this unit but when you outright lie here's a video from Scott Kilmer who probably knows more about cars than you do.
