In all honesty, since you're new to Xbox you probably don't have game pass yet. So don't buy this right away. Do you have Xbox live gold? If you never had game pass. I recommend you buy up to 3 years of Xbox live gold on Amazon for $60/year. Then go on game passes page and sign up for it for $1. That will then convert your Xbox live gold to game pass ultimate saving you a lot of money.
I do not know what the limit at Newegg is, but I was able to purchase two codes, and the promo code worked on both of them (3 dollars off each for a 6 dollar total savings on my order). The promo code said it could be used on up to 5 items.
One other side note, apparently you can't use Paypal as payment for these on Newegg. It said they weren't eligible when I tried to check out with Paypal.
