Why does this has so many bad reviews on Amazon, everyone saying it doesn't frizz enough others saying other reasons .I want to get it since I regularly buy carbonated water from Costco
It has a long travel, you have to press it on the way down to carbonate enough. It takes some trails to get it right. Once you get it right, its all good. All reviews complains about not fizz enough are either stupid or do not know how to use the machine.

That is awesome. Can get food grade pellets at Airgas and other places. www.airgas.com
Yes it's very good advice to remember that I'd you are going the DIY route on the CO2 then you *must* use food grade.

the fizz dispenser plus bottle caps & bottle brush come to $50.97. my invoice before purchase takes a discount off of each item, including the dispenser. Without the brush and caps, the discount on dispenser doesn't apply.

Worked for me. I followed oceanlake's directions exactly. Also, DM me if any one individual wants my 20% off code for a friend.

Or you can fill with dry ice. It is easy, costs less ( $7 for 3 canisters) and takes less space on counter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-a3pISQLQg

Really don't need one but just wanted to say. If you drinking sparkling water this is a must. Save money and is environmentally friendly. I got 6 cartridges that I refill once a year (dry ice method). It comes out to pennies

Where do you buy the dry ice? Is it widely available?

I've owned this model for a couple years. I really like it BUT...

My conclusion is that it was (possibly, likely) dreamed up to scam customers into having to refill their gas canisters more often. How it works: the 3 buttons basically determine how long the gas is injected into the canisters. However, at a certain pressure the gas begins escaping the safety valve, and there is a negligible difference in fizziness for further injections. On a full canister this is easily achieved with the first button (lowest setting). The other 2 buttons will just waste your gas. As the canister becomes empty, then it makes sense to use the other buttons since the pressure gradually runs out and requires more injections to achieve the same level of bubbles. But if you use the 3rd (highest) button from the start, the canister will last a week or two at most....wasting money. It took me awhile to figure this out, but you've been warned.

This deal is awesome, thanks! Does anyone know any good cheap flavors I could order? I liked the 5 fruit sample flavors they had on the official site, but $25 seemed decently pricy. I figure there may be a cheaper amazon alternative/brand everyone loves
