Where buy large 130 litre bottles, new or empty?
They're discontinued and often over-priced when you find them. Used on the 'Bay starting around $50 shipped and new ones on Amazon for $146 (hehe). Best bet is to check Craiglist, Offerup, and maybe nearby Goodwill stores every so often.
Also, should keep in mind that only certain SS models are compatible with the 130L tanks. Play, Jet, Dynamo, Design, Edition 1, Fizz, Revolution. The Jet model was the last (still?) available.

Caution on buying from Amazon if you are not sure that you will keep the unit. Because of compressed CO2 cylinder, AMAZON will not take it back. Read the reviews on Amazon - you have been warned.
It's funny cause I bought a butane soldering torch to do some infield soldering work and it didn't work properly. So I contacted them to send it back and I told them the thing was full of butane gas. "Oh that's fine just ship it back" lol

You have a lot of time in your hands laugh out loudApplauseApplause did you consider using the CO2 tanks sold at the Beer shops? Is dry ice cheaper than just buying the adapter for the bigger Beer CO2 tanks?

Everyone in this thread has been super helpful. The spreadsheet to calculate costs is great.

Picked up a blue fizzi with extra bottles from the sodastream website with 20% off from the codes posted previously.
