Couldn't justify paying double the price for 13 more inches . Got the cx 65 for gaming and not disappointed at all. I can't imagine playing at 77 inches . I guess if your a movie guy, or steam content get the 77 inch if you can afford it

A month ago we were ~$3400, now we're at $3000, I'm going to wait until after Christmas and see if we hit $2700.

Here's a piece of advise for everyone who keeps waiting and thinking, " well maybe I could save another $100 or $200, etc. if I wait until ____" - If you can afford it now, and are due for a significant upgrade, just go ahead and do it already so you can enjoy it while being stuck inside over the winter and not have to keep overanalyzing it. It's unlikely we will see even the CX drop below this price, and if it does it won't until May/June once they start clearing out for next year's C1 model. However... if you are already rocking a 65" OLED, and you really don't need to upgrade now, then I'd suggest waiting because there will be potentially significant new TV technology released within the next year or two such as QD-OLED , MiniLED, Dual-Cell 12 bit, QNED, and EL-QD. Not to mention next year we will likely many more TV options with HDMI 2.1 (if this is the main reason you want a C9/CX)

I purchased the 77" C9 from urlhasbeenblocked 5 months ago for $3600 flat, and coming from a 55" B7 I have absolutely no regrets on not waiting to save a few more hundred. Gaming on the Series X in 4k 120 is buttery smooth, my girlfriend loves her Dolby Vision Netflix series on it, and UHD discs are eye candy.

Amen.....same here....pissed though....it's at least 300+ less after tax vs what we paid few months back from GT.

But you still can run into issues with the courtesy burn in replacement. From that article, the guy did mention they can use some technicality to reject it. You can site some law but will you really follow through with it? Just possible risk not fear mongering. But this is a good deal ignoring that.

Also bought through GT for 3600. Really, same as first poster. Amazing TV. I agonized over 65" vs 77" but in the end, decided I would enjoy the larger TV more than a a trim level upgrade on whatever new car I buy, and for me at least was totally worth it. Also, weirdly I am not angry the price is better now, I was aware it would go lower, but decided 6 months was worth it! Would definitely recommend this tv.

A 77" television is just over 40% bigger than a 65" one.

People get stuck on diagonal length. This is a substantially larger TV.

The C9 is not capped and does do up to 48? If so, what does the CX have that the C9 does not? Note: I am specifically asking for my PS5 gaming TV.
