I know GoT and LoUII are both good but part of me just wants to wait for sub $25 deals on both...

Nothing stopping you from sending the devs a check, I came here to save money. Additionally, sounds like you're rallying for the retailers. Buy indie games if you really care.

Most of the offering is at or above the early BF prices from over the weekend. You save $7 for GoT, $2 for LoU2, and $10 for Mafia.

Tempted to get The Last of Us 2, but my god they're going to try to sell us a $70 "Remastered" PS5 version at this point aren't they?

The game was bought by GameFly and the devs got their money. You're advocating for getting rid of the used market for video games, at which point there's no point in physical media. This also means less opportunity to get the game at a discounted price for those that may be on a very tight budget, as there is less competition. By this train of thought, you should not even be buying games on sale, as the developer is not getting all the money they possibly could at full price. The whole purpose of this website is to get stuff at a cheap price where the consumer wins, not the retailer/maker of the product.

I'm a big advocate of GameFly, having bought many games from them in the past. However, I feel the deals from them lately have been lukewarm at best. As others mentioned, some of the prices they're offering used games at can be bought for new at the same price or even cheaper. Maybe covid added costs to their overhead, but I hope they'll be able to offer better prices again.
