I don't post deals often, so I apologize if this is a repost(looked like past deals were expired).

Home Depot has the Wyze starter bundle for $49.99 available for in store pickup and free shipping. Normally priced $79.99.

The Wyze Smart Home Starter Pack is a great way to make your home a smart home. The Wyze Home Starter Pack includes: a Wyze cam, Wyze sense starter kit, Wyze smart plug 2-pack, a microSD HC card, and 3 Wyze smart bulbs. Makes a great gift.

Never mind, you have to pick a zip code that has it in stock to see the $49 price.

I can't find those wyze plugs for $5 at any HD around here. Did pick this up. Although I don't need anything else but the plugs. I guess it's still a pretty good deal.

I can't stand dim light. LEDs are letting me down as a whole. I think I'm going to go back to incandescent. Hey Hue, are you listening?
I've had these for almost 2 years and they're bright as can be for my family and I. We can turn on one light in the living room and it's plenty (turning on 2 in opposite corners make it extremely bright in our opinion but everyone's eyes are different). If more of our older fixtures would take LED bulbs, I'd have these in all the lamps I could.

HD does jack up the price on the bulbs though, you can get a 4 pack on Wyze for much cheaper than HD, even with shipping still cheaper.

These are probably being cleared out since Wyze has a better V3 camera, and second version of Wyze Sense to be released very soon. Decent products though, especially for the price. Be warned about Sense version 1 sensors: when they lose battery power for too long they lose their MAC address and become useless and unrecoverable.
Do you know if that's months without battery life or less than a month?

What protocol (z-wave, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc) does this kit use? Looks like WiFi to me but definitely could be wrong. Would these devices integrate with SmartThings? I couldn't find much on the Home Depot website on these topics.

Picked one up at one of the home depot's near me. I went to two, neither had them displayed. I had to bug one of the employees at the second one. She found at least 10 "hidden" on a ledge where no one would see them. They're around, they just might not be displayed.

We own all the parts in this kit. I would skip it. Used to love Wyze due to the wonderful Wyze Cam v2 (in this kit). But the security stuff is unreliable, especially the truly crappy contact sensors. They disconnect and they die. The bulbs don't stay as reliably connected as TP-Link bulbs.

Unfortunately, Wyze has lost its way, apparently due to the firehose of products it has been releasing over the past year. We also have a $50 Wyze Outdoor Cam - truly a mediocre product, especially after being the number one requested product by Wyze customers and the longgg delay. Would not have wasted $50 on the Outdoor Cam had I known the (still $20) Wyze Cam v3 would be weather resistant. Sad situation - wanted to keep loving Wyze.

I agree. We have a bunch of wyze cams and I am disappointed that they have not concentrated on the core of the business. The other day I bought our daughter a ring alarm set for her new house so I'll be looking on deals for ring cameras for her and torn on what direction to go for us.
