Now, a higher GSM towel, with a high pile, could lint- but that towel would be used for applying wax or polishing.
Also, NEVER wash your microfiber with cotton fabrics. The lint from the cotton will get all over the microfiber. (And don't use fabric softener.)

FYI, when washing DO NOT USE fabric softener.
Like others said, no fabric softener or dryer sheets on microfiber, it clogs the fibers. Also, air dry only, as the dryer will melt the fibers, making these just plan old poly rag that won't absorb anything. You might get away with low heat, but I wouldn't risk it. I've ruined too many microfiber towels already.
