Quality microfiber towels, especially those used for drying, with a polyester/polyamide blend, should not leave behind lint.

Now, a higher GSM towel, with a high pile, could lint- but that towel would be used for applying wax or polishing.

Also, NEVER wash your microfiber with cotton fabrics. The lint from the cotton will get all over the microfiber. (And don't use fabric softener.)
costco ones are a much better buy
come with 36 for 1$ more at my club
The towels at Costco are a better deal (if one is close).

FYI, when washing DO NOT USE fabric softener.

I bought these on prime day. This is such a minor complaint, but the piping on the edges has chemical guys branding and I hate it. Besides that, they're fine. I can't comment on the linting, i haven't used them enough.

These are worth about $1 each. On a scale of 1-5, they are about a 2.

Thanks for the reminder, OP. Had these in Save for Later and forgot about the price dropping. Got it down to $12.45 before tax by spending 1 Amex point for 20% off, plus got a $1 no-rush reward instead of S&S. Pretty decent deal to try these out. I usually buy the packs from Costco, too.

Like others said, no fabric softener or dryer sheets on microfiber, it clogs the fibers. Also, air dry only, as the dryer will melt the fibers, making these just plan old poly rag that won't absorb anything. You might get away with low heat, but I wouldn't risk it. I've ruined too many microfiber towels already.

The Costco ones were on sale at my local club. Not sure if it is Costco-wide or just club by club.
