I bought the 72" version about a year ago for $40. We have two 15+ pound cats and they have no problem fitting anywhere on this tree. The top platform is their favorite, so we have to tighten it pretty often, but otherwise has held up great.
I'm debating buying another, just don't know where I'd put it.
I have the 52in. and my 10lb cat loves napping on the top perch. She jumps up to it from the couch, which is around the level of the hidey hole. We've had no problems with it so far (got it about a year ago or so? At the very least since the spring). My cat also likes to perch on the second highest level to chirp at the birds through the window. She has to lean forward a bit to see out the window but the perch definitely holds fine. Not sure if it matters, but I stuck it in a corner of the room against a wall, so that might help with structure. If your cat is around 10lbs though, I wouldn't really worry!
I had the 72 inch and it held up well for 3 years plus a cross country move. It was still in pretty decent shape when we threw it away, fleece/carpet was getting shredded but structure held up fairly well. I'd be in for one now if it was the gray color.
I would have grabbed this but wanted the gray color. Only cream is this price. I have a few other cat trees from this brand and they are solid. I'm not positive but I think this is Chewys brand?
I set a deal alert for this last night and just placed my order with the 40% off! There will be 3 happy cats soon! I have 2 smaller Frisco cat trees and the cats love them! Got this large one, now that we have 3 cats. Great quality for the price!
Can anyone attest to these? Are they durable? The top perches look like my cats might break them off.
I bought the 72" last year. It's EXTREMELY durable. It looks brand new after a year of heavy use from 5 cats. I can't recommend this enough if you want a (huge) cat tree in your house.
