Has anybody had issues trying to activate the offer? I logged in and I keep getting an error message saying,

"Oops. Something went wrong.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but the rewards calendar is not working at this time. Please check again later."

Is there a way to activate the promo through the app? Just curious to see if it might be affecting others.
were you able to activate ? im having same issue

** Discover's Extended Product Warranty benefit was discontinued effective February 28, 2018. **

You might want to think twice before using buying big electronics.. if you want to have the coverage.

uh, no. some of us have evolved and don't blink when we see 5%. no way would i put $1500 on my discover card just to get 5% back when there are quite a few better options. unless one of the quarterly event involve 5% back that you can't get anywhere else....people get can 10% at the places listed this quarter in their sleep.....

5% off at bby or amazon is a joke.
Lol. You're not just putting $1500 on your card "just to get the 5%." You do it because you already spent that much. And you combine the 5% to stack with the 10%+ cash back offers and other places in our sleep. I think you underwent devolution instead.

Is this for any Discover card? There doesn't appear to be a distinction in the description.

Lame that it was added to the existing list and not separate. Already hit the $1500 cap and I would expect all SD to have already done so too.
Is there an efficient way to do this other than regular WM GC? There are max $200 Visa GC online (WM, Target, and Amazon) so that barely pays.

Got any links or tips? There are occasional promotions or sales on GCs but always very limited in amount. How do you get 10+% off at Amazon on an unlimited amount?

nothing is unlimited; ever.

just keep checking on sd, the discounts are abound and plentiful. Wave

maybe you can start by pointing your browser to cash.app url.

What does this mean?
"Walmart.com purchases include only those made at Walmart.com and when shopping through the Walmart app "
I have to shopping at walmart.com, using walmart app to get 5% discover rewards?
Thanks!

I save as much in one month via 5% discount than I do with all Amazon promotions in a year. Sure, if you spend $50 on Amazon a month then the 5% off isn't much but for those spending $1500+ a month the 5% is MUCH more valuable than the rare promotions.

save your money and charge electronics in Amex. The extended warranty is worth it. Discover nerfed it and other than saving 5% back either Amex for extended warranty or chase UR points is somewhat more valuable - YMMV.

amex doesn't have extended warranty for most people.... for us lowly free users
