Is this for any Discover card? There doesn't appear to be a distinction in the description.
I wasnt able to activate the 5% CB because I had the Chrome Card, according to customer service. So apparently this doesnt apply to those with Chrome cards. I wish they wouldve been specific about it so I wouldnt have to waste my time trying to activate it 😅

Right. Discover it Chrome cards are not eligible and will show this error.
You can call Discover to request a product change, in which you keep your physical card. But you won't be able to activate and claim the benefit until your next billing cycle.

** Discover's Extended Product Warranty benefit was discontinued effective February 28, 2018. **

You might want to think twice before using buying big electronics.. if you want to have the coverage.
I'd rather have 5% off than an extra year of warranty. I've only ever had 1 item have issues after the first year but before the 2nd year of ownership. Maybe I'm just lucky?

So that's why I could not activate the promo on my side either. I have the chrome card myself. I was going to call customer service after work, but you clarified why it's not working. Thanks nayx!

Thanks. I didn't know. My USAA card pays 1.5% and carries extended warranty protection. The Discover card is about to take a big back seat.

What does this mean?
"Walmart.com purchases include only those made at Walmart.com and when shopping through the Walmart app "
I have to shopping at walmart.com, using walmart app to get 5% discover rewards?
Thanks!
Does Walmart app include Walmart Pay or is there some other way to pay in-store? 2019 terms excluded Walmart Pay, but this year that isn't clear. "Walmart.com purchases include only those made at Walmart.com and when shopping through the Walmart app (including Grocery Pick Up and Instore Pick Up). Purchases made through affiliates of Walmart.com are not part of this promotion. The Walmart.com logo is a registered trademark of Walmart Inc." Many elsewhere say Walmart Pay does not work.

Which in-store $500 Visa GC are easiest to deal with?

You can shop .com by app or online.

Dang...just bought a ps5 at BB with my 2% card. When I go pick it up I'll ask them to change the pay method. Hope they don't act like dicks lol

Figures. I just bought a TV from Best Buy with Discover last week. Oh well. Supposedly already getting 7% cashback from another site.

Agreed for most electronics, video games and stuff doesn't really matter as much. But overall, Discover cards became a lot less useful and mainly relegated to consumables after they dropped price protection and warranty from their cards.

I have usually filled up to the top, $1500, with giftcards from walmart. Hope it is still working.
5%=$1,500 or 100%=$75,000. Someone "capped" it? WalMart thanks you
