My guess is the manufacturer may have stopped making this model, or they need to replenish stock.
The new model has useless wireless charging and costs more so maybe its better to go with old model

One thing that had me stymied was the sudden drop to 0% after jumping my tractor. I thought it was odd to go from 90 to 0 after two cranks. Granted it's a diesel and it was near freezing, so I'm sure it saw as close to a dead-short as possible. Before I could take it back inside to get it on the charger, it returned to 80. So I think there is an internal overload timer that makes it show 0 until it resets.
Another thing... When you push the "boost" button, it seems to put considerably more than 12V output. I saw sparks coming out of my tractor's starter... Pretty sure I fried some dead spots into the rotor/brushes. Fired better without the boost.
