Hey everybody, this is my first time making a deal post on SD so hope I'm doing it right!
I've been hunting for a new WiFi 6 mesh router system and came across this amazing deal at Best Buy. It's the Netgear Orbi AX4200 system (previously on sale for Black Friday for $379.99) but found it today even more on sale for $349.99 with My Best Buy Member Pricing, so YMMV. Just purchased one today. Please comment if you are able to see the same price as I was!

NETGEAR direct has it for $379.99 and drop an email for their 10% off $342 + Tax and Free Ship.
https://www.netgear.com/orbi/rbk752.aspx
Or 4 pack is $499 which is $449 with the 10% off. Thats $20 more then Costco but not everyone has Costco (i don't).

Are those the Ethernet speeds you see from the router or satellite?
Ethernet speed router and via wired tv and laptop via a switch ...

How is the Ethernet slower? Are you connecting the Ethernet to the satellite? Is the satellite connected via Ethernet to the main unit or is it wireless?
Sorry don't understand your question.....based on my research rbk53 doesn't support 1 gig so I was getting the max it could ....since rbk753 supports 1 gig ..I am getting those speeds or close to it using it

This is what I did. Ordered it directly from Netgear with the additional 10% discount. Problem is the RBK752 keeps going out of stock on their site but I happened to catch it when it came back momentarily. Looks to be back again now. Ordered Monday night and it hasn't shipped yet.

I have had the Orbi RBK50 (router + satellite) for roughly two years and have been incredibly satisfied with its performance and range in our two story house. We've got 38 devices connected at any given time.

Would this be a worthy upgrade or not really worth the effort? We're on 300Mbps Cable.

How does this compare with Linksys Velop AX4200 2-piece at Costco for $300?

For 300mbps, not at all..unless you just got the 2nd stimulus check already (jfl)

It's interesting you said that. I have RBK53 (total 3 nodes) and 1G fiber, but for the life of me I couldn't get the connection over 400mb no matter what I do, even with ethernet. I thought the spec of RBK53 says it has gigabit ethernet port and I was really puzzled. Is that not the case? Does it not support 1gig? Performance wise the whole system of RBK53 has been fine, but I just hate the fact that I couldn't get more than 400MB out of it. Seems like rbk753 is the way to go in my case.

I see many terrible experiences with orbi in these posts, but I had my rbk50 for 4-5 years now, but had no problems with speed or dropping signals. Yes, i had to restart the router about couple times a year when i had problems, but almost all routers have such glitches. I just wish their app gives me more control and info about connections/clients.

Atleast that's what I have found based on my research ...other than that no reason to change ....if you have a gig connection you out to use that speed both via Ethernet and wifi as far as possible

you guys like orbi? i had nothing but issues with the first series rbk50 i think. i want to upgrade my ubiquiti stuff.
I ended up leaving some 3-4 year old ubiquiti stuff for the rbk50 with 1 satellite and couldn't be happier. I've had the rbk50 for 5-6 months with no issues and no need to reboot.

What is wrong with Linksys ax4200? I am using it for a week and working very good. I was thinking, if this Orbi is better? I had very bad experience with Orbis before so checking.
