My Best Buy Members: 2-Pack NETGEAR Orbi AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System EXPIRED

Anyone able to get close to gigabit on WiFi with a WIFI 6 capable device with this ax4200 m, ax6000 or any mesh WiFi system?

Do you have any wifi 6 clients? If so, what speeds do they get? I'd heard the AX6000 get 7-800+, but it's so expensive.

Picked up the Costco 3 pack. It was overkill for my home, which is under 1200sq feet. The purpose was to replace an unsupported wireless router and to also put a wireless signal to our front yard. With the router at the back of the house and one near the front door, I have coverage throughout the house and across the street.

We only have 150 Mbps, so even outside across the street, connected to the satellite over 2.4GHz band, I am getting 170Mbps burst speed. These were a huge upgrade over my old router, which had dead zones in the garage and front bedroom.

Might put the extra satellite in the garage, so when the garage door is up it may give signal down the street!

For 2000 sq feet or less, 1 strong router is more than enough. The Tp link AX 11000 currently on sale at Costco for 299 would be more than enough to handle anything you throw at it and got horse power to spare.

I underestimated the signal strength of these new routers, the one I upgraded out of was from 2011. It works great and after we buy a larger house I can use the "extra" satellite.

Complete and irresponsible overkill. Yet it is nice to be outside while my kid does remote learning. On the plus side, I am no longer considering doing an Ethernet backhaul, the signal strength is so strong that my satellite gives me the same speed as the primary wireless router.
