try the Ridgid for $99 for those seeking a cheaper alternative to the Milwaukee pack out or the DeWalt 2.0 storage.

go here to see a comprehensive review on all three system: https://youtu.be/KiriezIA_S0

video is very long (almost 1hr). I had to play back at 2x speed but the creator did a great job at doing a comparison and contrast of all three storage systems.

Feel good about this one do ya?
This system is awesome, especially for this price. I bought these last year and have zero regrets. Over built would be an understatement.
I'm still waiting for the 3 hour 70 dollar special... (maybe I'm dreaming)

The video comparison of Milwaukee, DeWalt and Ridgid was interesting.... happy that was not buried in the prior listing from a month ago as a post.

And speaking of prior listings for the same item(s), with so many listings, you would have to search for this one that was a month ago. So maybe there should be a time frame for when it is considered a re-post or not.... I would think a couple weeks is plenty.

Good system. Let it air out for a week though, they have a pretty serious smell to them.. especially the small one with all the little containers.

A few years ago I got mine for $79.

But at $100 it's still a great deal. These things are tough.

Years ago the cashier rung up just one of the pieces, so I got the entire set for ~$30.

My buddy then bought the same set and waited for the same cashier.

And they hold up very well. Mine actually get used and thrown around, and left outside, and abused in the job site. Zero issues. Except the wheels hold mud and are ugly.

I have this system at the 98 buck price and for the money and if you are a DIYer/homeowner it cannot be beat. I have moved on to the Packout because this system is limited to five pieces ONLY while the Packout has a lot of accessory pieces, but that is the ONLY criticism. It is well built, essentially waterproof and will hold a lot of tools. If you are a homeowner level or the wife of one, do NOT hesitate to get this.

Of course if money is no problem or you NEED the other types of pieces, the Milwaukee is superior, but for the basic three piece unit, this is very hard to beat...

Had mine for 2 years now and it's held up great.

I highly recommend getting the clear lid 10 compartment organizer for screws and small parts. I wish Ridgid made a low profile version.

I have both as well and agree with what you said but would like to add one criticism of the Milwaukees: they're big!

Larger is nice in terms of being able to fit a lot in there, but they can get really heavy and pose organizational challenges.

Also, now that we are into mud/snow/ice/slush season, the utility of a rolling cart becomes limited unless you're working somewhere where tracking in crap doesn't matter.

Bought during last $69.99 deal. The biggest issue is the strong smell, which still exists after long time.
