I use this app on my iPad and iPhone and love it! I do tons of videos for my kids soccer games using this and it is so easy to use and works great on my iPad Pro!

Looks like the in-app purchase for FCPXML Export is also on sale at $9.99 instead of the normal $19.99. This is a one time purchase and not a subscription. I believe this feature can export a project to work with Final Cut Pro or Da Vinci Resolve.

I'm confused about this app. If you plan to do it on FCP or Da Vinci eventually anyway, why would you start with phone or tablet? Meaning, what does it add/improve compared to just copying all files the PC and editing on Da Vinci (or FCP) from the beginning? I think I'm missing here something about the functionality.

Mac compatibility requires M1 chip?? Really??
Considering that the M1 and the Axx are designed around the same Arm platform it makes perfect sense. Intel and Arm are two different animals and there probably won't be as much "Carbon" between iPad and Mac like Motorola to Intel.

Awesome app. One app to rule them all. Will support iPad and iPhone (and I think the Apple Silicon Macs as well)

Portability. I love apps that let me do my work that I can later take to my desktop. Even when traveling I like to not have my laptop whenever I can.

Well I bought the app since everyone seems to love it, although I'm not still sure what it does better compared to Adobe apps. 90% of video is on the videocams anyway so have to load to laptop, but I guess I could give the app a chance to see if it makes sense to try create quick clips for social media already during the events by using the cell phone recordings.

I don't have my ipad with me. How do i buy with my computer? it says, "Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps."
If you only have your PC with you then you can use the iTunes app to buy it. Kind of a hassle if you don't already have it downloaded though.

Yeah... but if you go a year without it, you don't need it... and 20 dollars is 20 dollars.

How is the flexibility of adding your own song track to the video clip? Can you just drag an mp3 file on there? I see you can add 'royalty free music' and 'iTunes' tracks. Do you have to buy an iTunes track in order to add it in? Or do you have to add your track to iTunes and then add it? Asking because sometimes there could be narrative videos I could work on, but I'm curious about how to go at it with this app. I recently picked myself up a 4th gen 12.9, so I'm trying to make more use of it.

Also any app recommendation for Lightroom Alternative?
Not Affinity Photo, that is a PhotoShop alternative.

Thanks in advance for your replies!
To your first question, very easy. I've made a dozen or so movies with this, plus some other stuff, and I've always just used MP3 files I uploaded to my iPad. And yes, you can just import/drag/drop them on to the editor. Very quick and easy. Plus you can do whatever you want with them edit wise once imported. I think they have some royalty free stuff, but I never used it. Not sure about iTunes import either as I always just imported my own (generally stuff I found online or had an MP3 of already).

All in all, I love LumaFusion and it's an awesome app at a great price.

Not sure about a Lightroom alternative since I never used that before. But, based on a quick google search, if you are looking for a picture editor/optimizer/etc., checkout Pixelmator Photo: https://www.pixelmator.com/photo/
I've used that a few times and it's a great app.

Thank you! Yeah just general google search I found multiple choices, but most of them don't really come close to what I wanted to do. I'll look more into Pixelmator though. It looks interesting. Thank you!
