Bought one a few days ago for work in portrait orientation...ordered a second one to replace an old acer in same orientation in my triple monitor setup. This is a really very nice monitor and the display is fantastic.
Question. If i'm plugging this into my laptop, Could it go USB C to display port?
I am currently using this monitor with a MSI GE66 laptop. It is connected usb-c to display port with the respective cable. It works at 144hz at 1080p with no issues. Very happy with this monitor.
There's no HDR option on this monitor, but I use my 75 inch 4k TV if I need that. I primarily use the monitor for FPS games and my TV for everything else. There's not a huge difference in picture quality, but the 120 FPS is night and day.
What about this LG Ultragear one then? 27 inch same spec as this one but it is g-sync compatible with HDR.. I got these two monitors but hard to make a decision..

oh didnt know there is the respective cable for display port haha..
No most of laptop doesn't come with display port so it should be hdmi to hdmi
To answer the original question, yes you can go USB c to DisplayPort. There are USB c to DisplayPort adapters. The link below is an example. Another option is to pick up a USB c dock with DisplayPort out.
Does this have hdmi 2.1 for new ps5 and Xbox series x??
You dont need hdmi2.1 for this monitor since is a 1080p so it will give you 120fps at 1080p at 1ms ideal for online competitive games. If you want 4k 120fps on a monitor you will have to wait for next year models and pay over 1k for it is not worth it unless you are making money with it or just have extra cash and like to expend. Get this or better a 1440p 144hz 1ms if you care about better resolution and want the best out of ps5. All have are normally actually native1440p anyways with dinamic 4k. Specially if they want to hit the 120fps

This has HDMI 1.4. You won't be able to get 144hz over HDMI. Typically the 144hz advertised is achieved only over display port. Hdmi 2.0 can get you 120Hz
I own this monitor and am able to get 144hz over HDMI connected to a PC. To output 1080p 144hz you only need HDMI 1.4. Anything higher resolution then you need higher than HDMI 1.4

Can you recommend some deals that has 1440p 120 fps?
