I guess ppl get rid of their games eventually while I don't. But if you've been buying games for over 20 years on like half a dozen platforms, and you do a lot of bargain buying in addition to the stuff you're really into, it'd be hard to have not accumulated 2k by now. I could at least see how that guy could get into that situation if he's been buying since he was a kid and is now buying for his kids. Less likely that he just made that up
Guys, the original comment was that he has "2k $ worth" of games! Meaning $2,000 worth... not 2,000 games

You stated you have over 2k games.
To any normal person, that means 2 thousand games.
Which you don't have!
His comment says "2k $ worth". Not 2k games

I can't believe I fell for the marketing of this game, "limited time release" but during this time they printed a shit ton of them, this game is available everywhere.
Isn't it great that Nintendo doesn't seem to get a break? If they don't make enough available "I don't believe they don't have enough stock so now we have to buy from scalpers". Now that they do have enough available "I don't believe I fell for the limited time trick". What trick? They are indeed available for a limited time. And it's not like anyone is making you buy anything, it's your choice.

I don't like the limited time thing in general, particularly because they're also going to stop selling it digitally when the "limited time" period expires. This is especially true because these are older games. You'd think they'd want them available in perpetuity.

Of course, I did see one theory that once the limited time period for this bundle expires, that they'll just sell each one individually. That honestly sounds very Nintendo, which I don't mean in a nice way.

I have almost 3,800 games on Steam alone, 2,000 games is nothing.

I got an extra $10 for installing the app and ordering it through there. Thanks for the link, $37 for this game is probably never going to be beat.

I'm sure they'll resale individually. Additionally, I won't be surprised if they are working on a true SM64 HD Remake to sell for $59 alone.

Wtf are you even talking about lol. 2k games is a lot, even across multi platforms, even for gamers. Sure, you may pick up humble bundles to add to the numbers, but those aren't exactly "draining" you lol. Plus most gamers still settle in to specific games and franchises.
I mean.. I have a PC which has access to thousands of free flash games. Its no wonder they're discontinuing the use of it so us consoomers have to buy more games in the future.

Why would anyone want old games
Because old games focused more on gameplay, rather than flashy light shows and cinematics.

One of the worst things new games do these days is hold your hand for 1-4 hours with tons of cinematics before you can even start engaging with the actual gameplay as intended. I'm fine with telling a story, but I don't need an early game movie before the game.

In sum, get off my lawn.
