I mean.. I have a PC which has access to thousands of free flash games. Its no wonder they're discontinuing the use of it so us consoomers have to buy more games in the future.
He was referring to games draining him dry, though - free ones don't do that lol

Physical is often cheaper and has some sort of resale value if you get tired of the games.
But absolute BS that you don't get as many gold coins.

I never knew that!! Do you know how many more gold coins get on digital titles?

Edit: found that it's 5% for digital titles and 1% for physical. Thanks for schooling me.

damn. i didn't know that either! at 5% gold coins for a digital title, that's $3 for a $60 game. good thing i can easily resell any physical switch game for more than $3 lol

meanwhile, the parent trading in a switch at gamestop is pissed they can't get more money for all the digital games they bought that are still on the system

Because old games focused more on gameplay, rather than flashy light shows and cinematics.

One of the worst things new games do these days is hold your hand for 1-4 hours with tons of cinematics before you can even start engaging with the actual gameplay as intended. I'm fine with telling a story, but I don't need an early game movie before the game.

In sum, get off my lawn.
Dang. Way to blast me

Total BS that the digital version isn't on sale too.
Always the case. There's damn near no incentive to go digital.

Hopefully free. I pre-ordered 3D All Stars, and while the games themselves are top notch, the release was a bit sloppy in my opinion. Galaxy 2 should have been on the physical cartridge from day 1. Huge Nintendo fan, but shame on them for botching this release. I should have waited, but oh well. Good deal if anyone is looking to purchase!

Quote from DannoSpeaks :
This would average out to buying two games per week every week for twenty years. That's not being a gamer, it's being a collector.
That distinction is pedantic bc the two are obviously correlated: people who spend most of their time gaming are more likely to collect games that they never get around to playing merely bc they're on sale or sound interesting
