Any chance the ceramic will chip over time?

SCAM ALERT!!! This is not even a functioning oven. There is not even a place to plug it in. I would say it is meant to be a little kids toy but I think it is too heavy for that. Total scam.
True. The bigger problems though is that it is not Alexa compatible, no bluetooth, and no USB-C charging.

No, same difference. I own Tramontina and Lodge. Just got a 4qt Staub for $100 to see if I like the look and quality. But for anyone just getting interested in dutch oven cooking, those 2 Tramontinas will last you near forever if you treat them right.
I will say, for other comments, that the Tramontina has held up well even though I use it at 500F for baking breads. But I DID swap out the handle. Trust me...you don't want to see what happens to that handle when you go above 400F. A $2 knob at Lowes did the trick.
Yeah? It does say oven safe to 450. It is a metal knob.

Is this a good size for bread? That will be my primary purpose for buying.

I have the 5.5 qt size and it was a problem trying to get one with an acceptable finish. Too many with missing/chipped coating or large pieces of iron protruding on the inside (which the coating was very thin on and would probably wear off over time). Took me 4 tries before I got on that only had a small chip near the lid on the outside.

No it is Walmart exclusive in design. It looks more like the Cuisinart oven than the normal Lodge style. Not sure if they are changing it for all or just for Walmart.

The green and ash colors show a list price of $59.99. The merlot lists at $99.99. Is this really a good deal or a gimmick?
