Believe it was $399 a couple weeks ago?
I've had my 36 BS for two years in Chicago. No issues but I use it year round and oil after each use. Highly recommend the griddle. Adds a whole new repertoire of things to cook. I've been looking at this model as well but am still contemplating the 36 with air fryers. The 4 burners and the extra room is very nice when cooking different things at the same time.

I've had mine for about three years. Best thing I've ever spent money on. The food is better than anything I've had out of a restaurant and im not even a good cook.
The hood I wouldn't need on this because a waterproof cover and a dome for melting cheese works.

Blackstone told me the 36" doesn't truly convert to NG like this 28" does.

Its not an official conversion as their kits do not list the air fryer as compatible... but they send enough orifices in the kit to cover everything. The only difference is an additional single burner for the air fryer. The rest is exactly the same as a normal 36" grill which is on the supported model list. Always use your best judgment.

Dam, If I didn't get the $200 from TFS, I'd be all over this. Oh well, Save myself $150 for now.

how bad is the grease splatter with this or the 36"?
Concerned about having it on a deck or patio.

Check the reviews on blackstone customer service. It's absolutely abysmal and it's near impossible to get replacement parts. I have a 22" and the regulator broke on the 2nd use, which is extremely common per other people's reviews. It's so common that they made a video on how to reset it instead of addressing the root problem of cheap regulators.

There are a bunch of other brands. Consider looking around before you get stuck with one of these cheap Chinese grills.
What other brand griddles are better? Thanks!

You may want to check out Camp Chef products. They have a wide variety of products, including griddles. And their customer service is top notch.

I have one of their pellet smokers and got rid of my grill. Then I got a two burner stove that came with a BBQ box and a griddle. They are small (16" each) but they do exactly what I want them to do 99% of the time. And, I can always upgrade the griddle to either the larger one or just buy another griddle.

Here is one from Dicks that is very similar to what I got:

https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...vr2brnrcfp

They also make 3 burner stoves, where you can put a larger griddle and small bbq box, or the other way around. They also make pizza oven attachments.

Ok. I was actually in a neighborhood Walmart and checked this one. The build really seemed flimsy especially the air fryer parts. If you are getting this one, I would highly recommend picking up in store.
