I have wanted the serrated version of this knife since I purchased the non-serrated one. First time it has changed price since I have been watching it. Decent price per Tricamel.

This is not a display knife. Have mine for years now. It's not fancy looking or made of some super steel. It's a good design with a snappy speed safe deploy. Good grip. I beat mine up in the warehouse and don't feel bad about it. The steel is not great, it holds up ok and sharpens up quickly in a pull through sharpener. Cuts wrap and poly strapping easily. Tip is strong enough for a little prying.

I think your post is just fine, unless you wanted to put by where you have the price that it's 25% off for those bad at math My personal opinion of Kershaw may be biased but others may want to scoop one up, anyways thanks for posting.

Decent deal and in any case I'll always TU a knife deal.
Plain blade version was $26.99 at BladeHQ but OOS now.

No, it's a budget grade 8cr13mov Chinese steel. If you are looking for mid grade quality, look for S30V steel. I got this Kershaw Blur made from S30V for about $60 several months ago ($78 now, but maybe less if you shop around).

The pocket clip on this knife threads into the plastic body and will fail. This was the perfect EDC beater knife for me (cost vs quality/durability, nice opening action), but after going through several of them with the consistent issue of clip failure, I've moved on.

I bought this knife in March 2018 and it's been my daily ever since, super hefty with solid construction, absolutely love it for the price. Will probably get another at this price.
