it's a $45 case whose claim to fame is being able to fit a full size ATX in a micro chassis, expecting tg at this price point is a stretch anyway

No it's not a stretch. I've seen many cases at this price point with TG. Look at darkFlash, LianLi, or Thermaltake.

Plus this case has terrible airflow. Look at the YouTube reviews, it's literally called the OvenBox.

I have this case for a media server because I had an old ATX mobo lying around. There's no GPU in the build so thermals are just fine.

This case does not fit a full size ATX board due to the PSU placement. You're thinking about the Q500L.

I have this case and air flow is terrible even with 3 extra fans installed on the back and top. Not recommended

That's because YouTube noobs don't understand how a simple, proper liquid cooling setup laughs at your air flow

I have this case and would really argue to not buy it. I regret my purchase. Thermals aren't great, parts feel flimsy. To be fair, most other build I have done have been in fractal cases, but I would still spend a bit more for something better. Hope that helps. Happy thanksgiving.

I dunno, I have this case and I like it. I have a ~$650 build in it and run games for hours at a time frequently and it never gets hot with just air cooling.

looks cool to me and was plenty of space for everything. even fits my hyper 212, though I don't use it because the ryzen scythe cooler works just fine to keep temps down.

I have been using this case and I would recommend buying one with better airflow even with 4 fans installed it gets dirty fast besides that the temps aren't bad it also only has one hdd/ ssd mount

While the temps do get somewhat toasty, I use this case in my 2nd streaming PC and I found it to be adequate enough for that so it doesn't matter too much with a fan installed in the front to at least circulate the air through the back. It serves its purpose for housing the components and is easy enough to work in.

I would not recommend this case as your main PC case however, you're better served with paying a little more for a quality case with better airflow.

I have overclocked my computer on stock cooler and fans with average airflow. Never had I had any failures or throttling. People that spends over $100 on fans and coolers alone, have you ever had a overheating issue to justify that? Legit curious.
