Amazon and Best Buy both have the Sideclick Universal Remote Attachment for Roku streaming player on sale for $14.99 when you click the $10.00 off coupon. Normally $25. Free ship over $25 @ Amazon and $35 at Best Buy. This thing doesn't go on sale very often and usually at this price point around this time of the year for a short period of time.

It's for people with multiple components and especially components that don't necessarily work with CEC or ARC. Also, if you have a projector or other, more complex setups you sometimes need advanced IR control.

I use an older Anthem receiver without ARC. This lets me control that volume independently while still only having to use the Roku remote.

Can you use this and program any buttons from my soundbar? I have an LG Soundbar and I'd like to be able to change its mode(hdmi/bluetooth) with this remote.

"Sideclick will cover the headphone jack on the Roku remotes" for those of us that use the Wifi Direct functionality on the Roku for a lagless headphone experience.

Correct, but it can be easily removed or just keep them separated. We do use the headphone jack and usually just keep them separate, works just fine.
