You can get a pixel 4a 5G at 260-264$ after trading in a pixel 2 or 2 xl. This is the best trade in value for pixel I have found so far

Not everyone wants Google Fi. This is a great deal for those on other carriers that happen to have a 2-3 year old Pixel phone.

We have a couple Pixel 2 phones that are well beyond their prime. The batteries last only a few hours. And if you try to do a video call with 38% battery life, the phone shuts off and restarts. So they aren't very useful anymore. But trade-ins typically offer only $30-40. So $235 is fantastic.

It's my understanding that it'll work on the 4G LTE network. It is also capable of operating on the sub-6 network, but you have to have a plan that provides 5G access. This phone does not have a mmwave radio and therefore is unable to take advantage of Verizon's mmwave network where rolled out.

Awesome deal. I was charged 499 plus taxes. How to verify trade-in amount?

My Pixel 2 XL is working great but I've had it for a couple of years. Is this really an upgrade?

Seems like a near $300 credit for iphone 7 trade in as well. Is that a good deal?

I might be wrong but Google is trying to manipulate people here by incentivizing to upgrade to 4a 5G. And 4a 5g seems to be sale in various forms for the last two weeks. If you have used to P2XL build I dont think you would be happy about P4a 5g. You loose some great features in p2xl and you might want P5 later? But you get to have software drop from Google on p4a 5g which ended for p2xl last month.

I also have read bac reviews on p5 earpiece/front speaker as it is located under the screen and sounds hollow. For me I like the new p5 but stereo matters so maybe google needs to release p6 lol.
There is also rumors that the next Pixel would ship with Google chip (not titan but the SoC itself)
Yea, I just don't see the rush right now after hearing mixed reviews on the new gen pixel phones. Camera was the killer feature but the sensors have remained the same. The speakers are not great on the 5. Great price for anyone who needs a replacement right now though.

Trading in my Pixel 3 XL 64gb for $275, so total cost for the Pixel 4a 5G would be $225. Not bad, better than the T-mobile trade in deal (could not do a new line due to First Responder account)

It's weird because I was looking at this earlier and was sad that the trade-in for it went from $148 down to $128, then now $275.

I bought my wife the Pixel 5 just a few days ago and the trade in for hers was only $148. Chatted with a rep and her reply was "The trade in value is completely depends on current market value. The value is completely system automated".

Be wary of Google trade-ins. They gave me a much lower trade in price than advertised, 3 months late. No explanation. Just terrible customer service. And if you dispute the charge your Google account will be banned

I also have an iPhone 7 just laying around and I think that is a pretty solid deal. They did have it at $321 about a week ago or so and I did not pull the trigger then and I wish I had.

At $250 it's a decent Pixel phone. I got it for $20 from T-Mobile after trade in. My 3XL'S battery started to be crap. The battery on the 5G is great so far. Don't particularly feel like I'm missing out from my 3 XL's features. The speakers are not as good, they're just ok. Everything else feels the same. Haptic feedback is ok too, different than the 3, but better than say the Samsung A71. Overall I like it.

Ordered without thinking with trade-in for my cracked Pixel2XL. The cost to replace the screen is $220 from UBREAKIFIX. I really need a replacement badly and was looking around how to get the best deal for Iphone12. The 4a will last me for a while before I switch to a better phone. Just took snapshots of all the offers in case trade in is significantly lower than what Google advertised. Thank you!

As others have said, it only gives the inflated trade-in value for the unlocked 4a 5G version.

I have fi - assuming there's no difference for me between the fi version and unlocked? Other than I just move my pixel 2 XL's sim card to the new phone and activate?
Phone price is at retail $499 right? Don't think it's too much of a deal. for others who could wait, I'd wait for a week or more.

Same question here, they're offering $235 for my Pixel 2XL 64GB. At a distance it looks like a good deal, but wanting to hear from others.
