These days who the heck doesn't offer free or discounted shipping on a $90 item?

And yes I'll chime in that I used to love going to Fry's. All kinds of cool stuff to look at and drool over back in the day. They had the best prices. Would look forward to perusing their weekly newspaper (gosh does anyone get those anymore?) ads.

I used to love looking around Circuit city or even CompUSA ages ago now too. Heck, I even still miss Sears, Walden Software and Wards. I'm showing my age and getting way too nostalgic now.

These types of stores are a dying breed. Least Best Buy seems to be keeping up with the times and even they have struggled.
The Circuit City and CompUSA rebates were pain but got lots of deals back in days. With Circuit City the good part was you visit one store and if they are out of an item you can pay at the store you are at and pick up at the store it was available.
Staples was great too when new one opens up Coupon of $75 - $30 was used across all over the country and PM with rebate item. Good old days.

Well, I have a Fry's within a couple of miles from my home, so I'm giving it a shot. I haven't been there in a while because their shelves have been pretty much empty, but I still get their promo emails every day. I'm hoping they actually do have the item in stock. Just waiting for that email.
