Looks like a good deal for a carbon fiber tripod.
Question: is there any tangible advantage to carbon fiber vs. aluminum? I remember hearing Years ago how much lighter carbon fiber was. However, in recent years many aluminum tripods have been matching the weight of their carbon fiber equivalents. There are other good tripods in this price and weight range. E.g.: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1578206-REG/k_f_concept_kf09_089_sa254m2_dslr_camera_tripod.h... [bhphotovideo.com] is quite a bit taller, and only a little heavier.
Is there any advantage to carbon fiber besides weight (which appears negligible)?

Good point. But, I think that carbon fiber tends to dampen vibration a little better than aluminum. So there is that. Either way, I jumped on this deal. Free returns, so nothing to lose if I don't like it. I gave the post a thumbs up.
