Same question here. Are all the ISP provided routers worth changing out? If it would be a noticeable difference I think it's worth it at this price range (+ then equipment fee savings). 2 adults working from home and tons of streaming by kids

Went with the Tp-Link AX3000 at Target. Total was $129.27 after 10% off (today only?), 5% red card discount, and taxes.

worth updating from ASUS RT-N66U ? I know very little about wifi speeds, have about a 800sq ft apt and the router i currently have usually is fine, but been having to restart it lately. Thanks

Most probably not worth the upgrade for the area covered. But there is a fw update dated 06/2020, that may help:
