Ninja sent me XL version instead of Pro one. I don't know what to do, I guess I will keep an XL one since there is no really any difference between two besides size/shape. Functions look all the same.
For the people getting the XL, did it come with the thermometer?
It did. I haven't tried the thermometer yet, but I did a quick test lunch yesterday with some frozen chicken wings and corn on the cob and I was quite impressed. Looking forward to playing with it some more over the weekend. Looks like our air fryer, George Foreman and dehydrator are all going to get sold/donated.
I got the newer XL grill but I specifically wanted the older one because reviews say it heats better. yes I can leave it in longer but then why would I get the thermometer.
I got the XL as well. What a pleasant gift thank you Ninja! Now I can even meal prep! Tried frozen wings and it actually worked. Wife couldn't even tell.
I got the xl version also. Sending it back, hoping they replace it with what I ordered. If I wanted the xl I would have bought it for less on the kohls sale.
Haha I was shocked as well. I just keep seeing these negative reviews on the XL not being as efficient as the Pro. Definitely surprised though
I don't know. Most reviews have been positive that I've seen. I think maybe the non XL might seer a little better supposedly. I tell you what though, 5 pork chops and 4 full size sausages on AT the same time was pretty epic. After that I made the wife sweet potato fries with its air fry function. Everything came out great. I will say that the times in the book are definitely subjective. This thing cooks FAST, be on your guard and check things early. The chops I were cooking were a little thin to use the temp probe. All in all I'm happy. I will say the thing is the size of some Kitchens in NYC studio apartments! The only downfall I see so far. Got a nice amazon basics butcher block rolling kitchen cart to keep it on. Because I am not storing or moving this thing around lol!
Pretty much most of what I've seen is that it takes longer to heat since it's a larger surface area. Nothing too negative. Appreciate the info tho, thank you very much! Sounds like I will be doing my meal prep on this monster from now on haha. Thanks again
Did anyone here actually get the regular (Pro) version that we were supposed to get? I got the XL too. Was it a mistake or did they just run out? Not complaining since it is an upgrade, but just curious
