A Dell sales rep I spoke with said 300nits and 72% as they no longer build them with the older 220nits and 45%
11-30-2020 at 01:39 PM
while that could be true they started building them with the good panel, I seriously doubt it and would bet this is still the 45% NTSC

HP Ryzen 7 deal a lot better. This is decent for those who must have a dell.

Can HP Ram SSD be upgraded?

I tried the Dell 10% subscribe coupon on this and it would not stack.

It can charge via USB-C but.it needs to be a certain wattage. My 25 Watt Samsung super fast charger would not charge it. I bought a RAVpower 65 watt charger and it charges both this laptop and my Note 10.

Nice. I had a dell xps 15 which charged via usb-c but it needed 130w otherwise the performance would be throttled. Hopefully this is not the case with this Inspiron.

Yep. Ordered one earlier today for a colleague from a previous post and then used the coupon to make it $440. Great deal.

Is the difference between 4500U and 4700U worth $115? Asking as I am debating whether to keep the walmart $379 HP BF deal that comes with 4500U or todays HP store deal $399 that comes with 4700U. If the difference in value is so much, I'll just return the walmart one.

I found the information about not being useful for gaming on previous page. However, I don't know much about computers.

Many in that thread were saying the dell is better.
Not sure how they came to that conclusion. Maybe better battery life on this thing?

The HP Ryzen 7 has a better processor (5-10% better on average), brighter screen, and a lower price. RAM and SSD are the same. Not sure about the upgrade ability on RAM and hard drive, but you can typically replace a hard drive on any laptop if you really want to.

If you have pre conceptions on build quality and brand you might chose this over the other. My wife is one of those who dislike HPs and has to have a Dell. I tell her the specs and price would suggest otherwise, but if it makes her more satisfied to see Dell instead of HP great! (The Placebo effect is real Smilie )

This is a solid deal, the differences in price and processor are marginal, if you think Dell is better go for it! I'm sure you'll be happy without sacrificing too much cash or too much of a performance drop.

Here are some comparisons on the processor.
