A Dell sales rep I spoke with said 300nits and 72% as they no longer build them with the older 220nits and 45%
11-30-2020 at 01:39 PM
while that could be true they started building them with the good panel, I seriously doubt it and would bet this is still the 45% NTSC

Can anyone confirm if this will take a second M2 SSD?
If yes, what size would fit? 2230 or 2280?
It can fit both but youll need to buy the m2 screw that mounts it. Doesnt come with it for some reason.

How do I turn off the backlit keyboard? I got this and can't figure out how to turn off the keyboard light.

The matte screen was a must for me, so I couldn't get the HP Ryzen 4700 deal with brightview glossy.
How is the screen colors and viewing angles? Is it similar more to IPS or TN?

Is the ram upgradable or soldered? Sorry if the question was already asked but I couldn't find it.

Can anyone recommend memory for upgrading this laptop (the $440.99 model)? I'm just getting this for pretty basic stuff like web surfing, watching downloaded movies and TV shows (no video or photo editing), and word processing. Not sure if I'd need 32gb additional memory or if 16 would do and which to go with.

8 is good enough for what you have mentioned. No need to upgrade

I ordered during BF and got it like dec 12th. The fedex tracking was wrong on the notifications. It originally delayed til late Dec but ended up showing early. I just did a full DIY video for RAM and SSD (I had to use aftermarket heat sink) with an OEM bracket and screws. I have all the info in description of video.

Do not install "AMD Graphics Driver" update. The update will remove "AMD Radeon Software". You will lose the ability to change advanced display property like "Vari-Bright".
