Edit: I am having hard time now a days following all the slickdeals posting that mentions Walmart, BestBuy etc. without mentioning Amazon. In most cases Amazon price matches. This week I did my crazy bout of black friday shopping. All my Amazon items are arriving today already, while newegg order is no where to be found It's hard to imagine anyone matching Amazon experience. So, ideally people should post Amazon link first. I get that Amazon is too big and human beings are naturally envious of "bigs" from others. But imagine the world today without Amazon. It's good that Amazon revolutionized the retail and yes it's also good to have competition. But if two stores are selling at same price point, one being amazon, I would prefer amazon unless others can satisfy my "instant gratification" flaw.
i'm not a parent nor a psychologist, but wouldn't the cry detection feature just condition the baby to cry more often?
That is actually the argument against these types of swings.
That said, as a parent who is expecting their second baby in 8 weeks; I will do anything to survive lol. Until someone has walked the steps of a new parent, there shouldn't be judgement (not supposing you are!)

Thanks for the link.
Your subsequent call for all slickdealers to change their method of posting deals to suit your needs is just... strange.
Is this supposed to be like a mama roo? Had the mama roo for 2 kids and neither liked it. Heard similar feedback from friends with kids. My kids both loved the traditional baby swing. Way cheaper and way more effective. Just my 2 cents for any prospective parents

Amazon tells me it doesn't ship for 1-2 months. So I didn't include it and instead said only Walmart had it in stock. 🤷🏻 ♂️

My 2nd is 3 weeks old and, lemme tell you, it's easier the second time around. At least for me and my wife, we knew etc we were doing this time, and so there has been less flailing around and melting down on our part.

Yes. I concur on this. My 2nd one is 19 months old and it's a lot easier.. we know the drill and less mental breakdowns. Less worries too. If you survive the first, then 2nd one would be about half as stressful...
