This is a business-oriented laptop. Reviews of similar models praise the build quality and surprising amount of connectivity for this form factor.
It is also fairly unusual to be able to upgrade the RAM and add a SATA HDD at this price point, although it's worth mentioning that it doesn't have easy-open maintenance panels.
The big downside is the 250 nit screen with poor color accuracy. Still, for a use case like a work-from-home or general productivity laptop, it looks to be a good value.

The processor was twice as fast as the Thinkbook here.
If you want durability, it makes sense to pay a premium for a Thinkpad (not a Thinkbook).
If you want style/mobility, then it makes sense to pay a premium for a HP Envy, a Yoga or an XPS.
If you don't absolutely need either, then just focus on the specs and price:
1. Look at the processor rating on CPUbenchmark. Anything over 6K is good for most tasks, over 10K is great for everything.
2. Make sure that the RAM and SSD aren't soldered. Then get the cheapest possible config. Aftermarket upgrades are always cheaper than at purchase.
3. Check for other things you might need like a backlit keyboard, webcam, full-HD screen resolution, IPS screen for wide viewing angles, etc.
