The black and charcoal versions are also on sale ($156 and $149) respectively. Free shipping and store pick up. Returns up to Jan 25. I recently bought the black one from last deal and there were folks mentioning the red one would go on sale.

I did a lot of research and ended up buying this chair in a prior deal for around $160. Overall, it's a comfortable chair and this is a great price.

Here is my general take (based on research, mostly from other SD threads)
- Chair is best for medium build people; those over 6' or ~200lbs may want something different
- headrest is pretty uncomfortable for many
- These [instructables.com] modifications are absolutely necessary --- I felt pain in places that I didn't know that I could until I changed the lumbar support bar and then the chair was great

For someone who uses the computer mostly on days off and for like 3-4hrs a day is this worth it?

Or should i just get a $50 one from ikea or something?

Go for this. I have been using this for my daily work from last 2 years.
Great chair , comfortable. This is the least I have seen in recent times as using it runs for $140-$150...

I've had the chair for several years. The build isn't top tier but the comfort is excellent for all day use. At this price point, there is very few chairs that can compete.

I purchased the dexley and returned it immediately; too much plastic and the mesh is uncomfortable. I 100% suggest you avoid this type of chair.

what do you suggest in this price range? My gf has this and I thought it was comfortable for under $200. If you are willing to spend a little bit more I've read good things about the work pro 9000. Lowest I've seen was 307 on sd
