Great monitor for this price!
PS - if you are wanting to run this via HDMI @144hz, it won't work unless you turn off Adaptive Sync first. With adaptive sync on, the display will go up to 120hz on a pc and on a Mac (at least on my M1 device), it will only run it at 100Hz via HDMI. Once you turn off adaptive sync in the menu, it will allow 144hz using HDMI. This isn't a case with DisplayPort cable BUT and a big but is the fact if you use a USB-C -> Displayport cable there is some extremely strange flickering - it's constantly flickering at 144hz. This is with the USB-C -> DisplayPort cable (I have two different cables and both exhibit the exact same flickering issue).
Otherwise this is a great monitor the colors are so rich and deep - 98% DCI-P3. I haven't calibrated it yet but out of the box it is fantastic. The brightness on my S2721DGF is brighter but again this is subjective (how much brightness you require that your eyes can handle).
I don't use HDR to comment it again it's in a dark room so my eyes cannot handle the sun burn from the display at full brightness.
Zero ghosting from 144hz gaming and I have a 27" 4K as well but let me just say I do not see a damn difference between this nano IPS display @1440p vs a 27" 4K display. At least not from about 2ft distance away.
TEXT is ultra sharp on a Mac if you want to know.
