LOOK OUT. I got a "$2 Seasonal Surcharge fee" after checkout order was completed.

9 is lighter, wider, & the weave is more of a teflon weave. I'd argue is more a crossfit shoe than a training shoe.
X is more of a higher top design which is better for lateral movement. Heavier. Narrower. Weave is has more flex and it feels more like a sock-like feel when worn. Feel more designed as a training shoe than crossfit shoe.
My 2 cents. If you don't have wider feet get the X. I had one pair of 9s and liked them, but outside of the gym rarely wore them, but two pairs of X and it feels like a more comfortable shoe and a better all-round shoe I'd wear outside the gym.

Just chatted with a rep for the surcharge and he said this ....Oh, a surcharge will be applied on all orders due to an increase in cost in carrier and handling cost during this busy holiday season. And they're non-refundable, I'm afraid. You can check more info here: surcharges will be applied on all orders due to an increase in cost in carrier and handling cost during this busy holiday season
my X's are a half size bigger than my 9s. toe box is bigger and more roomy than my x's. i use the x's for casual shoe, i prefer my 9s to train in. personal opinion.

Tis true. I didn't size up, but the X is a wee bit shorter. Just not enough for me to go up on X.

What about running a mile or two on the treadmill before or after the workout? I've been trying to find a good all around shoe, and I dont know what is best at all.
