Each set come with an individual case and a ratchet? Pretty good deal! Anyone owns these? How would you rate the case quality?

MSRP is too expensive but I can manage 40% 50% off. Not bad. Adam Savage's favorite socket sets apparently. Here is the video review.

That didn't take long. 1/4" metric set is already OOS online.

So if you bought all 4 of these sets that are on sale today it would be $200, the following Milwaukee set includes all the sockets in those 4 kits for $200 in a packout with the appropriate packout inserts.

It is perpetually out of stock however:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14568047-199-99-milwaukee-3-8-and-1-4-in-sae-metric-ratchet-socket-mechanics-set-w-packout-case-106-pc-home-depot
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-3-8-in-and-1-4-in-Drive-SAE-Metric-Ratchet-and-Socket-Mechanic... [homedepot.com]

You can buy the packout inserts for ~$20 and the low-profile packout case for ~$40 if you wanted to recreate that kit and bought all these sets individually, not to mention you'd have extra ratchets and extensions.

Just mentioning this because there are quite a few people who have been waiting to get that socket/ratchet packout set for $200 for a while now.

Unless you are a professional mechanic I'm not sure why you need all 4 of these honestly. Just pick metric or sae (as your car is either going to be metric or sae) and you are set for around $95. If you are a DIYer, you wouldn't care about the packout inserts either. I personally like individual packs cuz it is easier to just throw it into the car for a road trip. Depends on your needs, I guess.

I got a "free" deep set with an m12 purchase. They're nice, but nothing special from my other husky/kobalt/craftsman/icon sets/sockets I have.

That said, I'm tempted for a set for the truck.

Damn really tempted on the 3/8 set with the screwdriver..... got the craftsman 216 pc for $100 in the summer and it's great but this is legit too. At the same time, I have the 3/8 gear wrench impact set from amazon. So I RRALLY don't need this. Lol
