---------------

[EDIT: Deal looks DEAD-ish, after-coupon price (at 256GB storage) is now...
$954+tax as of 2020-12-03, 0300 UTC (=2020-12-02 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific)
$999+tax as of 2020-12-01, 2330 UTC (6:30pm Eastern / 3:30pm Pacific)
The hp.com site is still running some "Cyber Week" promos, so maybe the deal pricing will come back sometime this week, but right now the pre-coupon base price reduction is only $250-off $200-off, instead of the $330-off that it reached on Cyber Monday.]

---------------

The hp.com store dropped the price on Cyber Monday for this 13.3" OLED HP Spectre x360 Windows laptop so the price is now a little better than the recent hot slickdeal post, using the same 10%-off ($999 min. cart) coupon code 10STACKBFCM21: https://slickdeals.net/f/14602612-new-hp-spectre-x360-13t-aw200-13-3-fhd-oled-touch-i7-1165g7-16gb-ddr4-512gb-pcie-ssd-thunderbolt-4-win10h-1034-99?v=1

The pre-tax price is now $942 instead of $1035 for that same config (where the PCIe NVMe M.2 drive was upgraded from 256 GB to 512 GB for +$63).

4-hour "Doorbuster" flash sale until 2200 UTC (5pm Eastern or 2pm Pacific) lowers the pre-coupon price by an extra $30 (hp lists it at "$300 savings" instead of "$270"). I think this is the best Cyber Monday deal that will be offered for this 13.3" HP Spectre.
Doorbuster flash sale ended, but the $30 extra savings remained, so it looks like the full deal is still on (as of 2020-12-01 0130 UTC).

- Tiger Lake 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 with integrated GPU (iGPU) Intel Iris Xe Graphics (96 EU).
- 16GB RAM is soldered.
- Comes with HP Rechargeable MPP2.0 Tilt Pen stylus included in base price.
- Free shipping.

UPDATE late 2020-11-30: Coupon code no longer working for sub-$999 cart, so you have to get at least $20 of upgrades (cheapest option is to upgrade to Poseidon Blue color, or add a >=$20 USB-C adapter, or upgrade storage to 512GB)

Additional upgrade options (extra prices detailed are the final pre-tax price increase, after 10%-off coupon):
- Chassis color: Base price is "Natural silver" color, add +$9 for "Nightfall black" or +$18 for "Poseidon blue" color options.
- Screen resolution: FHD (1920 x 1080) OLED touchscreen can be upgraded for +$135 to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), but this shortens battery life ~2 hours and 13.3" diagonal screen is small anyway.
- Storage: 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD can be upgraded to 512 GB (+$63), 1 TB (+$126), or 2 TB (+$378)

Some cb online shopping portals offer up to an extra ~12% money back from hp.com on top of this deal price, if you click through them to the hp.com store.

To get the title deal price :
1] At the product page https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp...-9aj99av-1, click CUSTOMIZE & BUY [Starts at $949.99 $869.99 during flash sale]
1B] For the "Color" option, select Poseidon Blue. [+$20] {Or else, upgrade the Storage to 512GB +$70, or add a MS Office software or USB-C adapter for +>=$20}
2] For the "Processor, graphic and memory" option, select Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 (up to 4.7 GHz, 12 MB L3 cache, 4 cores) + Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics + 16 GB (Onboard) (OLED) [+$80]
3] For the "Display" option, select 13.3" diagonal, FHD (1920 x 1080), OLED, touch, UWVA, edge-to-edge glass, micro-edge, BrightView, anti-reflection, 400 nits [+$30]
4] Add to cart and, at checkout, apply coupon code 10STACKBFCM21 (10% Off) to get final price $953.98 $878.99 during flash sale.

Thanks for sharing.

If anyone sees a similar build and price on a 15" laptop, please do share. I've been trying different configurations on HP.com with a minimum of the 11th Gen i7 processor, and can't find any good prices.

Thanks,
Tofu Vic

The 15" HP Spectre with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 is also having its Cyber Monday Doorbuster flash sale on hp.com right now, for the next 2.5 hours (until 0000 UTC = 7pm Eastern, 4pm Pacific), which takes an extra $50 off the base price.

Though, it still costs ~$200 more than the 13.3" Spectre model if you want OLED screen option, since the 15" model only offers the higher res 4K UHD AMOLED 400 nits (3840 x 2160), with no 1080p option. After the same 10STACKBFCM21 coupon for 10% off, the 15" HP Spectre is $1102+tax with the 4K AMOLED.

You can lower the price another ~$100 if you don't need the OLED screen, since it comes to $984/$1030+tax for their 340nits/400nits IPS screen options.

The 15" HP Spectre also has Pcie 4.0 x4 options for storage (instead of the 13.3" model's Pcie 3.0 interface), but you have to add ~$81 (after coupon) to upgrade to a minimum of 512 GB storage (PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD [4x4 SSD]), instead of the base 256 GB option.

i dont know why but I havent been able to use any of the coupons posted here for HP. Even when they were posted in their page as well for thanksgiving and now cyber Monday I always get "The coupon code you have entered is not applicable for products in the cart". Does anyone know if this is because my account is created as a student account? I have tried more than 4 coupons that have been posted here and everyone else was able to use but not me. Frown

That's correct. If you log out your student account and create a new one, you could apply the code

Student accounts already get a discount - or is assumed by the website to get a discount - so coupons cannot be applied. If you want to test a coupon, simply log out and try the coupon without being logged into an account.

I hope this helps,

Thanks, I thought I would get an extra discount being student but the original price was the same using my student account and not using it.

I'm confused - why do you say a little more than front page deal - the other one is over $1000 so this is the better deal?

This is definitely the better deal. The original poster's sentence reads, "The hp.com store dropped the price today on this 13.3" OLED HP Spectre x360 Windows laptop a little more from the recent front page deal."

I bold some of the words for emphasis: "The hp.com store dropped the price today on this 13.3" OLED HP Spectre x360 Windows laptop a little more from the recent front page deal."

The original poster stated that the store "dropped the price... a little more," not that the price itself is a little more.

I hope this provides clarification,
Tofu Vic

On the fence here. Don't like this language on the checkout page:

Final Sale products purchased on or after 11/30 are not eligible for price protection, cancellations, returns, or exchanges.
