Has anyone used this and a similar ultra sharp model who could provide some feedback? E.g a U2719D?

These are entry level monitors. I bought the 24" ones and the colors were wildly off so ended up returning one.

If you want to game on it the acer 10000% if you just want an everyday monitor this is fine but with 75hz and this price I wouldn't use it for gaming as there are far better ones for around the same price.
IMO if your are not going to get a 144hz or higher monitor you might as well just go 4k.

Somewhat relevant: do you know any monitor on the market that has glass/glossy screen? Really miss my old vivid Crossover

I dunno about the curved VA one, I've had this flat IPS Acer for a few months and I'm happy with the size, viewing angles, brightness.

https://slickdeals.net/f/14207831-preorder-acer-cb272u-smiiprx-27-hdr-1440p-freesync-ips-monitor-200-b-h-or-250-at-costco

The backlight uniformity is not great, but it's rarely noticeable. The stand is good and does height adjustment. This Dell might be annoying without height adjustment. I know that Costco is great about exchanges and returns if there's a problem. Dunno about Dell.

Sorry to say, my Costco flat Acer was $200 last week instead of $250. Might go on sale again.

32" vs 27" is a different beast. Go with a 27" because you don't want to get whiplash, and at night the bright screen will burn your eyes. it's like staring at the sun.
Ii will definitely go with LG 32".
