- Amazon Smart Plug (White, for reference only)
- Open the Alexa App [iOS or Android]
- Search for the Best Buy skill in the Alexa App and click "Launch"
- After enabling the skill, click "Save Permissions"
- Click on "link account" and you will be prompted to sign in to your Best Buy account
- Note, you must have a payment method saved on your Best Buy account in order to purchase the voice deal.
- Now say to your Alexa Enabled Device "Alexa, ask Best Buy about Voice-Only Deals"
- The smart plug deal should be offered for $4.99
- Alexa will ask if you want to Buy the Amazon Smart Plug
- Respond "Yes" and you will be prompted to proceed to checkout by voice
- Specify the amount you would like to purchase (maximum purchase quantity is 20)
- Select a store for pickup
- Complete the order and your total should be $4.99 + free store pickup

I always buy these when Amazon has them for $5 but I can really only get one at a time that way.
These really do work better with Echo than most of the third party ones.
My guess is they are offering free shipping since total before the discount is over $35. Since they are normally $24.99, buying 2+ would give free shipping.
Edit: Wow.. just as I was setting up my Best Buy on Alexa, a $5 anniversary reward certificate just popped in. What are the odds...

I only buy 2 brands, decided the hassle of setting up didn't brands wasn't worth it and when these go on sale for $5 I always buy one, but this deal is on point

Note you actually have to have your Best Buy account linked to Alexa and have a credit card saved in your Best Buy account to order. I had to jump through all those hoops before I was able to actually place an order.
