Warning: during National Burger Day, I was charged full price for a Whopper even though the app and checkout all said it would be free. Burger King charged me full price even though I had screenshots and even after I called corporate. Good luck to you slickdealers with their scams.

You must have made a goof. the price you are going to pay in on the final payment screen, assuming you did a mobile order. If you placed the order and the promo wasn't applying itself, you should have gone back and started over.

Not sure what 'screenshots' you had, but unless you had a screenshot of that final payment screen showing a $0.00 balance, then it is on you, not BK. If you did, just dispute it on your CC.

One sandwich total, per order.

Got a double for lunch, and dang, that was filling even halfway thru. (I stupidly went right at lunchtime, so the drive thru line literally was down the street, couldn't even get into the parking lot just to park and walk inside)

Probably 2 for 5 on McRib. So get a triple Whopper with a McRib between each patty. Toilet destroyed.

Sorry, didn't I say that it said it would be free? The promo was there all the way to the very end. Burger King corporate didn't even care to see my screenshots.

Did you have a screenshot showing the final payment screen with a $0.00 total. Just because it's free doesn't mean you don't have to check out showing it as free. As I said before, if that final screen wasn't showing $0.00 and you hit order/pay, of course you were charged for it.

Excuse me for being skeptical, but something about your story doesn't add up. I've been using the BK app for 2+ years and have redeem countless offers for free items.

No it doesn't say $0.00 because I ordered other items. The whopper did show $0.00. I've used the BK app for years prior myself and never had an issue until that promotion.

I've been able to get an Impossible Whopper for $2 on recent Wednesdays. Regular Whoppers are also $2, although I have the "New user" offer for $1, even though I am not a new user.

Oddly, when I checked the app just after midnight, I saw the $1 regular Whopper, $2 double and $3 triple as mentioned here, and no Impossible Whopper offer. But when I checked around 10am, it was back to the $2 offer for regular and Impossible. Maybe the offer varies by area?

Totally free or free with other items? I've had a problem with the free kids meal at a local BK that charges higher prices for their kids meals. The order total ended up being a dime or so more than it should have been for just the item that I was getting to qualify for the free meal (I believe it was the $1 nuggets). I complained to BK, and they claimed that someone would get back to me. but they never did. When I ordered from a restaurant with lower prices on kids meal, I got charged the correct amount.
