My 4yr old received this for his birthday last year. The worst set I have ever had to build- I should say ATTEMPTED to build- because the pieces are too flimsy, they don't stay upright as they are meant to bend for the wrecking ball/demo. I could not get the pieces to stay up, if you even touched the structure or drove a car around, it collapsed. Trashed the entire thing.

Reviews pretty much say the same. Wish they put better items on special post BF than cheap junk at half off.

My experience wasn't quite that bad. My son was able to get it to stand and then knock it down. But after doing that once or twice he lost interest.

Donate before trashing! Maybe somebody else would have been able to get it to work.
