I believe they will be back in stock. Judging by some of the threads from Black Friday it seems like folks were ordering Switch bundles from different stores in an effort to guarantee themselves one. I'm not saying folks were trying to scalp these items, they just wanted a backup plan in the event their sole order didn't get fulfilled. My guess is we will see many of those orders that were backup orders/plans start to be returned.

A bit of anecdotal evidence.....saw two Mario Kart bundles at Walmart #3838(Tarentum, PA) on Sunday morning while stopping in electronics before doing some grocery shopping.

It seems Nintendo is doing a decent job with inventory, so just keep your eyes open online. If you happen to be out and pass one of those stores that had stock during the Black Friday kickoff, maybe pop in if it isn't out of the way. You'll land the Mario Kart version, one way or the other.
Lol I think you're right. I ordered an Animal Crossings switch for my daughter for Xmas when it was available a month or so ago. Then the Mario Kart bundle came out for BF and I ordered one before they went out of stock, thinking that this would really be a better deal since I was going to get a second copy of MK so she can play online with her brother and other friends who already have the game (also scored the Family membership at Target). My son has a first gen Switch and has been talking about the Fortnite bundle since he heard about it a few months ago but it wasn't clear if or when it would be available in the US. I figured I would keep the MK bundle switch for him (better battery life) and sell his first gen (that would also get him the red/blue controller - the one he has came with gray ones). When I saw the Fortnite bundle Monday on SD I was super excited and ordered it from 3 local Targets that all showed only one in stock (I figured they may not actually have one by the time they pick my order so wanted to increase my chances). I also used a bunch of Target GC I got with the Apple GC deal the other day. Of course, all 3 came through. Now I need to decide which ones I keep for Xmas and what to do with the others. I think my daughter will like the AC theme and I know my son will want the FN. Maybe sell the MK switch without the game code and sell one of the FN switches without the Wildcat/Vbucks code so my daughter can have the in-game items. I'll wait a bit to see how the market for the Switch develops before Xmas and likely just return the extra one or sell it close to cost closer to Xmas. Don't really want to rip anyone off bus also don't want to deal with the hassle of selling. BTW the Fortnite bundle is still available at least from Walmart although it doesn't show up at the top of the search results (shows a ~$600 reseller up top).

FYI, if you get it shipped from Walmart, ours was delivered (most likely from our local store) in its original box and not concealed in a Walmart box. Kids saw it on the door step... So much for Santa bringing this one... Frown
Yeah I had some of my BF items delivered in store bags on my porch. Packaged and labeled just like store pickup orders and delivered by the same quality drivers in rusted out vehicles that used to deliver Amazon stuff before amazon stepped up their game. Luckily I found the bags before the kids came home.

I bit. Let's see if the crappy Walmart near me actually fulfills the order in a timely manner. Wish I could have selected the "better" walmart.

A nintendo switch should not cost over$250! I dont get it why are people so addicted to this thing? Nintendo can sell a crackhead a switch for $299😂
Overpriced (maybe even more so on the game side than the console itself)? Yep. Lots of entertainment value due to excellent first party games? Yep. Good selection of family friendly games? Yep. Overall value? Worth it in my opinion. I don't need super high end graphics to have fun. I still enjoy the original Mario games even though they are way pixely. In fact, I never really got into the 3D Mario games (although my son loves them). I like the linear ones better.

what game would you recommand for a 7 year old? Mario world 3d is too much for kid, He can't complete most level and keep dying. Are there very easy games on Wii u or switch? He mainly plays games ont tablet like Panda pop and some racing

Why because your use to No Russians on COD?
Because it's a console released in 2017 with an SoC released in 2015. That's positively ancient in consumer product lifetimes and it still sells at the $300 price point (with more stuff bundled). Amazing.

Interestingly Mario Kart might be a good fit. There is a function that basically helps you stay straight and move forward if you're struggling. May want to check out some youtube videos. My kid does the same and he still feels like hes actually playing successfully

Apple sold a very expensive high end machine targeting professional users that was introduced in 2013 until late 2019. That's 6 years. And the thing wasn't even upgradeable. People apparently still bought it.

I concur. Mario Kart is a great game and the guided mode works well for inexperienced kids and allows them to ease into it. Another fun (but totally different) game is Snipperclips.
You could also sign up for the online membership and get access to old SNES titles. That way you can try a few different types of games and see what works. The online store (don't need the membership for that) also has demos for some games.

Good for them and their shareholders. However, while there are definitely some games I might want to play on the switch, I see no reason to invest my $$$ this late into a products cycle. I can wait. At this pace, switch emulation might be pretty good before the next gen unit comes out Smilie

It may not be as powerful as the other systems but it has more games that I actually want to play than the other systems. I spend 80% of my time on the Switch and I have an Xbox One and a PS4.
