Not a bad deal including shipping.

Although anyone with Costco access should check their local stores first. Some Costcos carry a similar sized unit with higher load ratings for a lower price.

Not sure how accurate this but they claim

"this shelving unit has a 3600 lb maximum capacity when distributed evenly across all shelves (up to 600 lb per shelf)"

Yeah that seems doubtful. Casters always reduce the weight-bearing load significantly....but if you remove them then maybe that claim is correct.

The Sams club looks like the same shelf and they included this information in the description...

"What Is this Shelving Made Of?

This Member's Mark shelving unit is constructed using ultra-strong chrome plated steel outfitted with six adjustable shelves. Though the shelves are wire-style, they're also lined with polypropylene inlays. Each shelf is triple trussed and can hold up to 600-pounds when on its leveling feet and 500-pounds each when on its caster wheels, meaning the entire unit can store 2,000-2,400-pounds total."

I recently bought the other muscle rack from walmart. Opened up the big box and noticed parts were missing. They instantly gave a refund when I called customer service. But man, i really wanted those racks at that price

I found it is a good idea to put a sheet of cardboard or 1/4" plywood on the shelves first. Maybe it is because I am in Florida and my garage stays well over 100 in the summer, but I had a gallon jug of motor oil form a leak on the bottom from being in contact with the thin wire shelf. Maybe it was a fluke but I always line the shelf before putting anything on it now.

I loaded this up with cases of water. Idk how much that weighs. The shelves held up fine but the bottom where the caster where inserted all failed. I now use without casters.

You mean the shelves without the casters? 48W x 24D x 72H?

Which parts did you get and which parts were missing?

Sam's Club version includes plastic shelf liners. Well worth the extra $7. Sam's is best shelf for the money and I have dozens of shelves.

Yes without the casters. It had the braces, had only 1 coupler. Missing the pieces that has the holes in it, the ones that go vertical. My box had a hole in it
